My name is Stephanie Levich and I have worked in the fertility world for over 15 years. I started in this field because of my own parent's journey to have a family. My mom suffered from a severe infection when she was only a child which resulted in a complete hysterectomy, robbing her of her ability to have biological children of her own. When it came time for she and my dad to start their family, they adopted me and my two siblings. Without question, my parents are my mom and dad and, bred from the love we share, I always felt a desire to help amazing people like them become parents and create families of their own.
After working in the field for almost 10 years, my husband and I decided it was our time to start our family. I knew all too well the struggles so many people faced with infertility but crossed my fingers as tightly as possible and hoped our journey would be easy. After a year and a half of trying (and never wanting to look at another home pregnancy test again), we were still unsuccessful. After countless tests and fertility treatments, nothing was happening. But thanks to the miracle of IVF, we finally found success and are now the proud parents of our two beautiful children. Our miracles.
My career in this field began while working for a Los Angeles based egg donor and surrogate agency. There, I handled all aspects of these arrangements - recruiting of egg donors and surrogates, walking all parties through the entire egg donation and surrogacy process, and matching future parents with egg donor and surrogate candidates. I fell in love with the work but wanted to do things differently so a colleague and I decided to start our own egg donor and surrogate program. Under my leadership, our agency became one of the leading egg donor and surrogate programs in the world.
Highlights of my career so far include being invited to the White House in July of 2012 to participate in a discussion about attacking challenges associated with young entrepreneurship. Additionally, I had the privilege of working closely with a multi-million dollar accessory company to launch and manage their application and interview process for ABC's hit TV show Shark Tank which ultimately landed them a deal with Daymond John. Finally, I was humbled to be named one of the top 30 entrepreneurs under the age of 30 by Inc. Magazine and be featured in several major news publications including ForbesWoman.
Having already been deeply immersed in the fertility world, both personally and professionally, I ultimately decided to leave the agency side of the business and use my unique background to start Family Match Consulting, LLC. I have a passion (my husband endearingly calls it an obsession) for helping future parents navigate through the often confusing, overwhelming and emotional process of finding egg donors and surrogates. My goal is to make this process easier for you. I am fortunate to have helped over 2,000 people and couples find their perfect egg donors and surrogates and I hope to help you find yours, and to be able to celebrate your own precious miracle very soon.
